Frequently Asked Questions
How do we get started?
Following our initial contact either by email or telephone we may agree to meet for an initial consultation at my practice. This will give you the opportunity to to tell me about yourself, your current difficulties and to ask any questions that you may have.
This will give us the opportunity to see if we both feel that we could work together and what options are best for you. Following this initial meeting, you will have the opportunity to reflect on our conversation and consider what path feels right for you.
How long is each session?
Sessions usually last 60-minutes, however, you can opt for a 90-minute session if required.
How often should I attend?
It is important to attend therapy regularly and frequently as this allows us to build a solid therapeutic alliance/relationship. How frequently you attend is something that we can discuss and agree upon mutually.
Some clients attend weekly while some attend fortnightly depending on their situation.
How much do the sessions cost?
My fees are £70 for 60-minutes (£90 for 90-minutes) paid by cash, cheque or via BACS transfer either in advance or on the day of the session.
Please note that I do not accept credit or debit cards.
